Since it has been awhile since I last bogged. I will update a bit.
Will started kindergarten this fall. Things were going really well for him until about 2 weeks ago. Suddenly he has become clingy and doesn't want to go to school? Not sure what happened -he says he does not like 'stations'-this is where they go in groups to different tables and do some learning activities. I am unsure what it is he does not like but we are working on his confidence and hopefully can resolve this soon. It is difficult to go to work and not worry about him all day.
He turns 6 on Saturday and is very excited!
Kennedy is in 6th grade this year. She is still in dance and loves to read. She is my anxious child and worries quite a bit. I am always reminding her to relax. She started working a few hours a month with me at Papa's store and she really likes it. She has made a good chunk of money and she spent some this past Saturday on some clothes for herself. She had quite a shocked look on her face when they rang up her purchase -she was not expecting to spend most of the money she had withdrawn that morning in one store. I think it was a good teaching journey for her. I had guided her through each article of clothing and told her much each was but she wasn't expecting the total. I reassurred her that she could return something if she wanted -but in the end she decided to keep the clothing and save more money before she spent anymore.
Addison is a 4th grader and has matured in the past few months. She has become more organized with her school work, she needs to work a bit on studying. She is a very accomplished reader but would rather be outside playing. She is definitely a free spirit and adores her dogs. She is a cuddler and a very thoughtful person. She can be quiet and reserved when not at home in her comfort zone. When at home there is nothing quiet about her!
Tony is in his 3rd year as a work planner for the city utility company and his 22 year overall for the company. He loves the kids and since I work evening hours -he is very involved with the kids and all they do.
I am at my 15th year for the hospital and I also work day hours for dad at his store in the mall. I don't care to work at the store but love my dad and do whatever I can for him.
We have 2 dogs-I am not sure what we were thinking getting a 2nd dog but the kids ove them. Kola is almost 5 and is a goldendoodle. Jack is 2 he is a Cairn terrier. (PITA -really:)
